The Private Cloud Services' department is the largest IT environment within ABN AMRO Bank. It includes all parts within the Open Systems context that are required to fully serve consumers. Active Directory (AD) is at the heart of ABN AMRO's IT Systems.
Every day 1000's of IT people, bank employees and customers depend on not only the availability of our solutions, but also the necessary developments within this IT field. The dynamics within this area are therefore great, fun and challenging.
Your job
The ADvance Team, also known as Active Directory Team, is the backbone of the organization and is responsible for the admin activities for Active Directory. As a team we make sure that we have a secure way of working for accessing our domain and we keep out unwanted visitors from our infrastructure. We work according to the Microsoft Tiering model. Security, cyber resiliency and recovery are the most important aspects of our daily job (e.g. prepare for ransomware).
Working on complex security topics we do together with other specialized departments. It is important to contribute to a smooth collaboration between these departments, as we need to act fast in case of calamities or security breaches. As a team we ensure business continuity for Active Directory: therefor we look for an always on always ready mentality; Providing support related to authorization and authentication for other current and future applications and platforms.
Your profile
- Hands on knowledge and experience with on prem Active Directory, 5 years minimum experience in enterprise organizations;
- Scripting with a preference for Powershell;
- Ability to quickly recognize and understand the enterprise processes, security aspects, and compliancy that is related to IT;
- Ability to work independent on designs and solutions;
- Collaborative / team player/ flexible attitude towards standby hours and escalations;
- General IT infra knowledge; ITIL;
- Microsoft concepts, best practices and techniques;
- Communication skills (both verbally and in writing) in English.
