DevOps Engineer - Cloud Nationale Nederlanden
Wat je gaat doen
NN is currently going under a digital transformation, by using a DevOps attitude, your role will help shape and simplify new and existing solutions into innovative and meaningful experiences to make the final product scalable, manageable, and intuitive for both producers and consumers.
Your main focus in the beginning will be to migrate our document-solution to a modern stack and to help improve the way NN is connecting to its customers using API’s.
After that, you can help to build standard solutions that the product team can use, like CI/CD pipelines and project boilerplates for both front-end and backend.

An all-round software engineer able to work comfortably in the back-end and cloud services, we are looking for someone with the ability to develop high quality code and have high quality engineering standards, to be curious, and actively acquire new skills, new methods and processes to make our customers even happier. The ideal candidate has passion for technology and want to learn continuously and push the team to reach our common goals.
You know how to work in an Agile environment where collaboration, and continuous improvements are the foundations. Additionally you possess:
- 4+ years of experience working in a similar role
- Experience with back-end development with server-side programming languages such as Javascript / Typescript on Node.JS, etc
- Passion for automating and implementing recurring tasks, testing, and security in CI/CD systems
- Knowledge about software architectures and experience building microservices and applications using AWS (e.g. Cloudwatch, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS) or/and others
Met wie je werkt
You will be part of the B2B&Broker-domain, responsible for the most important business portals for NN. In the Platform-team, we help the other teams to standardize and automate their work and we are responsible for Documents and Api’s. In this international team together with other 9 other talented and friendly engineers, you will develop and maintain tools, services, and frameworks that will set the standard for the company to be ready for the future.
