Your job

Control Operations is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our client's transactional data. We are always working to improve the automation of daily tasks and generate insights from data to become a more efficient and sustainable organization. As a Realisation Officer, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing announcement capture (CA) input into our core systems and applications.
• Analyzing announcement capture (CA) processes for efficiency improvements.
• Making suggestions for automation.
• Participating in daily and weekly team meetings and projects.

Control is one of the three teams within Operations at ABN AMRO Clearing responsible for making clients' businesses secure. The Control Operations team maintains data in Clearing's core systems, ensuring clients have accurate and timely data. Additionally, the team reconciles all client accounts. We foster an inclusive environment with a diverse team of over 20 people of various nationalities and experience levels.

Your profile

• You combine a Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in financial markets with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of the clearing industry, our role in the market, financial products, and banking (incl. operational risks and compliance).
• You are assertive: when in doubt, it's always better to ask for clarification rather than risk making a mistake, as that could cost millions.
• You are able to distinguish between what is important and what is less important to prioritize tasks effectively.
• You are a precise worker who pays attention to the details.
• Pre: knowledge of CA (Corporate Actions).

We are offering

• The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
• Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
• Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
• An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
• An excellent pension scheme.
