Are you a seasoned ServiceNow developer with a passion for creating impactful custom applications? We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Application Developer on a high-priority project aimed at transforming our procurement processes. Starting on 01-11-2024 this +/-4-month contract role based in the Netherlands will allow you to showcase your expertise in ServiceNow and drive real business value.
Your Impact as Senior Application Developer at NN:
As a Senior Application Developer, you will play a critical role in developing a custom application for our procurement department. This project involves digitizing our vendor management process and streamlining contract management, ensuring a seamless and efficient operation. Your work will directly impact our ability to manage third-party risks and maintain strong relationships with our vendors.
This is a temporary assignment, start date 01-11-2024, for a duration of +/- 4 months, 36-40 hours per week.
What you are going to do
Your Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop a custom application within ServiceNow to digitize and streamline procurement processes.
- Ensure the security of the application, adhering to best practices and platform guidelines.
- Design and implement workflows, notifications, and flow automation to enhance the efficiency of vendor management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure the application meets business needs.
- Support deployment through Source Control, update sets, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production.

Who You Are
- An expert in ServiceNow with at least 6 years of experience, particularly in custom application development.
- A strong communicator, capable of translating technical concepts into business value, and experienced in Agile methodologies.
- Familiar with ServiceNow’s flow designer, notification engine, and survey and assessment modules.
- A proactive team player who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Based in the Netherlands and ready to contribute fully from October 15th, 2024.
