Provide expert guidance on Business Intelligence (BI) skills and technologies.
Develop scalable and maintainable BI applications to meet business objectives.
Develop security and authentication standards for the department.
Maintain accurate and complete technical architectural documents.
Define BI standards, guidelines and best practices for business groups and technical teams.
Support BI tools upgrades in development, testing and documentation.
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities for BI tools.
Diagnose and resolve BI tool capacity issues.
Recommend strategies to improve performance and capacity of BI tools.
Address customer queries and issues in a timely manner.
Provide technical training on BI tools to team members.
Collaborate with BI Administrators, Developers and Analysts for successful development of BI reporting and analysis solutions.
Work with business groups and technical teams to develop and maintain data warehouse platform for BI reporting.
Design and build tabular models writing complex DAX formulae.
Build scalable data warehouse solutions using PaaS and SaaS services in Microsoft cloud.
Address master data issues and provide data solutions to manage them.

You will join the 6 colleagues in the Corporate BI department. They are known for their great technical knowledge and smooth cooperation. Asking for help if necessary and offering help if possible is part of their DNA. We have few predefined paths, which gives you plenty of room to choose your own.

The main responsibilities of the department are:

Key operations of the business intelligence team begin with the design and deployment of the BI architecture, which includes source systems, data warehouses, and a combination of business intelligence, data visualization, and reporting tools.
Advocate self-service analytics and train to empower Business to build their own reports, dash boards and power BI models.
Agree to SLA’s for providing front line support to the business users on the BI cubes and deliver big fixes and enhancements on a timely basis.

Experience with Azure SQL and the other tools in Microsoft suite of BI tools so both On-premises and Cloud.
Relevant experience in building data warehouse solutions in cloud using PaaS and SaaS services.
Around 10 or more years of experience
Reporting tools, mainly Power BI
Data modeling, data warehousing, data visualization & analytics
Programming languages like Python, .net, R would be added value.
