• Within the CITO division Retail NL Tech, the domain Digital Platform is the main driver behind the digital experience of our 7 million customers and enabler of the most strategic objectives of Rabobank. Within Tribe Digital Platform, our squads work on a digital platform that provides the frameworks and tools for over 200 teams that build our modern digital experience, while ensuring the highest standards for quality, performance, and security. As part of the Foundation team, you will aim to achieve this with your teams and colleague Tech Leads.

• You know that reliability, quality, and consistency are key to a fantastic customer experience. Squads, stuck in cumbersome organizational and DevOps processes, are unable to achieve this. It is your mission to relieve squads in our digital channels from all the gnarly overhead! Foundational services of our Rabo Online Platform facilitate the engineering journey for over 200+ squads. As tech lead, you are enclosing Rabo core DevOps capabilities as a service to squads all over the Rabobank, including security and performance. You motivate your employees, help them to develop and innovate. Profile As Tech Lead you have a high tech savviness in the field of software development, security and performance. You are experienced in the agile way of working, understand the risk & compliance needs of a bank, and possess a broad interest and opinion on IT trends. You are a self-starter who can take ownership and has the intrinsic motivation to make a positive impact. You are experienced in hiring the right engineers and work with squads directly to make a positive impact for our customers.  The Tech Lead we are looking for is a people-oriented collaborator. You are customer-oriented and inspiring. You create positive impact. In addition, it is important that you have the following characteristics:
  • Academic working and thinking level;
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar roles within complex IT environments;
  • Accustomed and comfortable with a “span of control” of approximately 20-30 employees;
  • Knowledge of and experience with DevOps teams and scaled Agile;
  • Relevant experience in software development and management;
  • Experience in guiding DevOps teams;
  • You have achieved demonstrable results by guiding teams towards autonomy and a high level of performance;
  • Demonstrable affinity and passion for digitization and Cloud technology;
  • Mastery of the English language (business level, writing and speaking);
  • You take on a pivotal role by weighing interests and risks together with the business.

• Up to € 145.000,00 - salary per year incl all benefits based on 40 hours (scale 11). (based on experience and knowledge) (basic salary, ebb, holiday allowance and 13the month)
