Senior Manager - Oracle Finance
Job Description & Summary
As Senior Manager Oracle Finance, you will be the key player in our clients' major Oracle Cloud transformation programs. In this role, you will support them in connecting the dots between the digital world and their core finance processes.
This will require a thorough understanding of business processes, best practices, the latest developments, and benefits Oracle Cloud brings to clients.
Next to business-oriented consulting skills, strong leadership skills are essential, enabling us to put the plan into action together with our Global teams.
You are a team player and, at the same time, able to deliver independently. Having strong analytical skills and a proactive ‘can-do’ mentality.
Does this describe you?
- You have a master’s degree;
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills in English (Dutch and German language skills are considered a pre);
- Excellent interpersonal skills, confident in building lasting business relationships;
- At least 8 to 10 years of working experience within the Oracle Finance Transformation field;
- Experienced in digital transformations;
- Experienced with analyzing, redesigning and implementing finance processes in an organization based on best practices and Oracle Cloud functionality;
- You have proven project management experience and can lead a team during client assignments.
What will you be doing?
As Senior Manager Oracle Finance, you will be the project leader of a multidisciplinary team and/or you will make a substantial contribution out of the IT strategy and Finance expertise to complex (transformation) assignments;
- You help customers get added value from their technology: by formulating a smart strategy, optimizing the IT function and fitting it into their organization and processes;
- You supervise (large-scale) Oracle Finance transformations in complex environments for mostly internationally operating companies;
- You anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realizes they are required;
- You navigate the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements;
- You build trust, initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients and stakeholders;
- You demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to work across different locations and environments as per the project or program demands;
- You supervise your junior colleagues and act as a coach and spar with them regarding activities, ideas and proposals;
- You have an active contribution to business development, win new assignments and initiate thought leadership through publications and presentations during conferences.
