(Senior) Manager Technology Strategy & Transformation – Financial Sector

As a Technology Strategy & Transformation Manager, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that carries out large-scale IT transformations for our clients. Your role is crucial in delivering projects and leading teams through modern delivery techniques. We work closely with our clients to analyze problems, find solutions, and help develop business cases to transform the way our clients run their businesses in the digital age.

What will you be doing? 

Projects range from a few months to two years and include:

• Conceptual thinking from strategy to execution;
• Leading complex IT transformations within the financial sector;
• Solving technology architecture challenges of banks and insurers, e.g., legacy modernization, data architecture;
• Developing digital product delivery models and technology operating models;
• Technical delivery management and managing senior and technical stakeholders to exceed client expectations;
• Addressing technology cost challenges;
• Addressing the impact of (Financial Services) regulations on technology;

Does this describe you?

You:

• Have a completed master's degree at an academic level and are fluent in both Dutch and English;
• Bring experience in project and program management, SCRUM, and various Agile techniques;
• Have demonstrated solution and enterprise architecture experience, or the interest and analytical skills to understand architecture;
• Are familiar with trends and developments within the financial sector and can translate them into concrete services for clients. You are entrepreneurial and not afraid to challenge the status quo;
• Are a creative and critical thinker who enjoys finding out-of-the-box solutions;
• Enjoys developing thought leadership and new propositions in response to our client’s challenges;
• Want to further develop yourself, share your knowledge, elevate it to a higher level, expand your network, and bring out the best in yourself and your colleagues;
• Have excellent people management and communication skills;
• Have the ability to coach and take responsibility in the personal growth of your colleagues;
• Act as a sparring partner and can connect at different levels, from the boardroom to the shop floor;
• Bring a network and know how to develop and maintain it;
• Believe in acting with integrity both internally and externally and take responsibility for it;
