Senior Node.js Engineer

In this position, you will help us to create new solutions, change and simplify existing ones and make sure our platform it’s scalable, manageable and ready for the future.
What you are going to do
You are going to use technologies and tools such as AWS (Lambda, S3, etc.), TypeScript (Node.js), GraphQL. Besides directly contributing to the codebase, a big part of your responsibility is work with your team, help us develop general best practices and foster a true engineering culture. Your main responsibilities are to:
- Build software with the best possible user experience, while following an API-first approach
- Implement modern best practices for software development, such as automated building, testing and deployment through CI/CD
- Collaborate closely with your team members by doing pair and mob programming
- Coach juniors to become better software engineers and further develop their strengths
- Talk to other teams, and users to explore their needs and produce feasible solutions

Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development, building TypeScript, React Native, AWS, GraphQL, Node.JS based applications
- Experience building applications using AWS (Cloudformation, Serveless, CDK, Lambda, S3, etc.)
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB)
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Azure DevOps
- A passion for automation and implementing recurring tasks, testing, and security
