Senior Project Manager Cloud

You will:

• Lead and Manage: Oversee multiple cloud-related projects, including migration initiatives, from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Examples of projects include the migration of a colocation in a data center to AWS, involving Linux-based environments with various database platforms such as MariaDB and SQL. Another project is the migration of a colocation in a data center to Azure for a Windows-based workload for 400+ customers with approximately 5500 SQL databases. Additionally, projects where we need to integrate AWS or Azure environments into Exact’s existing environments. 
• Strategic Planning: There is an annual plan for migrating workloads to the cloud and optimizing existing cloud workloads in terms of stability, scalability, security, and cost. Each quarter, this annual plan is concretely translated into projects for the next quarter. 
• Technical Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of AWS and Azure to guide technical teams and make informed decisions. 
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Cloud Architect, Cloud Cost Manager, and Manager Operations, to ensure seamless project execution. Additionally, you will have important responsibilities in managing stakeholders within the Development and Customer Success organizations. 
• Problem Solving: Proactively anticipate issues, with a high degree of problem-solving ability expected. Technical knowledge and hands-on experience are therefore of great importance. 
• Performance Monitoring: You are responsible for the progress of the projects. You regularly inform your stakeholders and actively seek feedback on the projects. 
• Continuous Improvement: The world of Cloud is a dynamic one with rapidly changing technology, new developments in Cloud, and changing costs. In this role, we also expect you to proactively propose projects for optimization and to further enhance the security of our environments.
