• Design and implement test strategies
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks

You are a driven QA Engineer and you are looking to learn. You have a strong sense of ownership, high quality engineering standards and the ability to develop a high-quality testing strategy. You clearly communicate with others, and both seek out and provide constructive feedback. You maintain a growth mindset and you are eager to learn, acquire new skills and try new methodologies and processes to make sure we stay future proof.

• Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining automated tests with Test Automation frameworks such as Playwright
• Demonstrable knowledge of using and improving testing methodologies such as functional testing, integration testing, regression testing and performance testing
• Demonstrable understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript, including its features, syntax and best practices
• You should have a strong ability to debug code, identify the root cause of issues, and provide detailed analysis to developers
• You will need to work closely with developers and other team members, so excellent communication skills are critical. You must be able to communicate issues and explain test results clearly and concisely
• Dutch language proficiency is a big plus, certification for TMAP or ISTQB is a plus and basic understanding of Tosca is a plus

You will join a partially remote cross-functional platform team in the IT department of Schade Intermediair. In this department, we create B2B insurance products for intermediaries and direct customers. Our aim is to create an amazing user experience, expand our product offering and improve operational efficiency. Your team will focus on document creation as part of various customer journeys. To this end, you will collaborate with several Product Teams. You will also work with a central QA team to improve our overall level of quality assurance.
