We are seeking someone to join our dynamic team within the Platforms and Financial Services (P&FS) solution. Our mission is to drive product and commercial (CX/UX) research initiatives and bring in the perspectives of our customers: partnering platforms and SMB end-users. By closely collaborating with multidisciplinary teams inside Adyen, we elevate customer centricity in the organization. We ensure that our products and strategies are not only aligned with business but also anticipate the evolving needs of our customers.
As a member of our team, you will work closely with product and commercial teams, engineering, UX design, and other stakeholders across the organization. Success in this role is not just about delivering insightful findings—it's about encouraging others to take action based on those insights, ensuring that our research translates into tangible, customer-focused outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Bringing in the external customer perspective: You will cultivate a deep understanding of our customers' needs, while also gaining insights into our core business capabilities and strategies, aligning research with broader organizational goals
- Proactively identifying research opportunities: You will be the visionary who spots gaps and possibilities before they are even on the radar, setting the stage for impactful research aligned with P&FS business priorities
- Conducting impactful research projects: You will scope and lead research projects from end-to-end, making sure insights are translated into actions
- Empowering teams through coaching, tools and training: By providing the resources and knowledge, you will enable product and commercial teams to conduct their own research, cultivating a self-sustaining ecosystem of insight-driven development
- Influencing decision making and development: You will identify key stakeholders and ensure your insights are effectively communicated across the organization, influencing both strategic decisions and execution at all levels
- Continuously improving our Ways of Working: You will proactively seek ways to refine our Way of Working, scaling best practices across the organization to ensure continuous improvement and greater impact
Who you are
- Research Experience: 8+ of relevant quantitative and qualitative research experience in business and/or academic environments. You have a strong ability to think conceptually, can speedily synthesise data and translate complex insights into actions
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: you do not sit back but proactively seek for opportunities to improve and create more impact. You are hands-on and comfortable working in a changing environment that celebrates speed and innovation. Experience in an early or growth-stage company with a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Customer centric: you are dedicated to bringing a human face to technology and able to quickly identify the diverse needs and experiences of customers. It is a plus if you have experience working in a B2B environment focusing on payments/financial technology
- Business Strategy: you have a deep interest in business processes, commercial and product strategy. We love to learn from your experience in elevating customer centricity and scaling research in business
- Communication and Connecting: You have strong communication skills and are comfortable working with diverse internal and external stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures. You do not shy away from starting new collaborations and bringing diverse stakeholders together
- Leadership: You have a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation to constantly contribute to our fast-growing business
