Your job as...

As a Solution Design Chapter Lead at our grid, you play a key role in realising ABN AMRO's strategy of being a personal bank in a digital age. You do this by, on the one hand, leading a chapter (group of max. 12 people) of solution designers. On the other hand, you contribute to the product development as part of your interdisciplinary team. More specifically, you provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring they follow the architecture direction and make informed technical decisions; you support in the creation of Solution Intents under the lead of a Domain Architect and you create and maintain documentation in the form of Solution Designs that are linked to specific Solution Intents.

Must haves:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in any of the following areas: 
  • iOS development
  • Android development
  • Azure cloud services with Java applications;
• Skilled in stakeholder management, with a focus on clearly describing and agreeing design choices and solutions
• Able to deliver clear technical leadership and provide colleagues with a platform on which they can flourish
• Proficient in modeling software solutions, design patterns, design principles and building technical roadmaps

Good to haves:

• Experience in recruiting, guiding and training team members, with HR responsibility
• Qualifications in design tools and methods, such as: 
  • Archimate
  • UML
  • TOGAF
• Experience within ABN AMRO
